This should have been the Blog post for March. So sorry if you popped by to see it and it was missing. I was just about to write Aprils post and saw March was missing.
Monthly Sketchbook Inspiration
Pick a single object and draw it from different angles, breaking it down into basic shapes before adding details.
Skill Development: Strengthens observational skills, understanding of form, and perspective.
Time: 30-45 minutes depending on the complexity of the object.
Here are some sketches by my students on previous projects exploring Still Life.
Viewfinders were used to isolate areas, different colour palettes were tested and tonal studies were created.
