This demonstration covers the key washes you will need to begin painting in watecolours.
It's also a great reminder of skills for the more advanced watercolourist.
For this project you will need:
Watercolour paints
Small round brush size 6-8
Watercolour paper 300gsm
(Salt)
This project should take about 30 minutes.
Skills:
Flat wash, Graded wash
Glazed wash, Lifting out
Negative space, Wet on wet
Dry brush, Scumbling
Pulling out, Details (mark making)
Hard and Soft edges, Salt effects
