Demonstration of 6 colour theories in watercolour.
For this project you will need:
Watercolour paints (at least 6 colours Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange, Purple)
Small round brush size 6-8
Watercolour paper 300gsm
pencil
This project should take between 30 - 60 minutes.
Colour wheel – I used only 6 colours
Primary – Red, Yellow and Blue.
Secondary – Orange, Green and Purple.

Monochrome – different shades of one colour
Analogous – colours next to each other on the colour wheel
Triadic – 3 colours equally distant on the colour wheel
Complementary – 2 opposite colours
Split Complementary – 2 colours next to each other and 1 opposite colour
Tetradic – 4 colours equally spaced on the colour wheel
